Hello guys! Just wondering if any of you are running a goldfinger lefthand throttle on your nytros? How does it perform? Please post any install pictures of how it looks on the sled. Some pretty sick sleds on here keep up the good work guys!

I ran one for one season. it kept triggering the TORS system on my sled because it pulled the flipper at an odd angle so I took it off. I have read that some people adjusted theirs to work bit it was more hassle then i wanted to deal with. I originally thought they were a good idea but since have changed my mind. there are definitely two groups when it comes to left handed throttles. some say they are great some say they are a crutch and you should not need one if you ride your sled correctly. I believe that if they work for you and your riding style that is great but as i mentioned before it was more hassle then it was worth.

I've been running left hand throttles for about 10 years and really like them. I probably use it more than most because of a medical condition in my right hand though.
Mostly I'll use it for certain left hand side hilling conditions where the snow is firmer and the up hill ski isn't sinking in. Also when climbing on a rutted out hill, where you switch back and forth on the running boards or making sharp turns around a tree.

The key making it work with TORS is to make sure that there is enough free play in the LH throttle cable. Normally I adjust it so that I can get the desired free play by turning the cable thumb wheel on the LH throttle handle.

A word of caution though, do not ride with your finger resting on the LH trigger. Otherwise you may instinctively squeeze your finger, instead of grabbing the brake. :o|
