Hey guys, I am a Yamaha man all the way, sleds, waverunners… thinking about getting something to play off trail a bit, current rides are Sidewinder LTX and Viper RTX, these are awesome trail machines but too heavy to play with my SkiDoo buddies off trail

What would do you ride or what would you get if you wanted to have a machine to pay off trail but be able to ride aggressively on the trail to get there??

If you are a Yamaha man all the way, you should have a longer track "tuned" Sidewinder, like a 153 or at least a 141. These setup correctly will dance and play with any sled out there. Takes a little more work and horsepower....but I love my Sidewinder and Vipers off-trail. Our group rides off-trail, that's what we live for and most of our group rides Vipers.

I am an off-trail guy pretty much 95%. If I would go with another brand of sled for a 2 stroke, it would be a New AC Riot 146, or a Polaris Switchback Assault 144/Polaris RMK KHAOS 155

I have poked around at the Assaults, I def could never go Skipoo… the friends yap soo much I can't out of spite, it would really wind them up if I showed up on a Polaris thou

Does anyone know if the 146 Versattak is the same as the Riot Cross Action skid? Seems to be a slide link front mount like the ZR/SRV skids but basically not coupler stop behind the rear scissor arm.

Thinking of having 146 rails made for my skid and go 146 Ice Cobra. Have been looking at full 146 Cross Tour skids as well.
