Snoden, you will need to download Garmin's Basecamp (its free) and then can use it to send/push down maps to the GPS. As for viewing the trails on the GPS, you may need to temporarily disable other maps and only have VV Maps enabled.

Well I got it figured out with Jeromy's help. Remember the part where I said I'm new to all this tech stuff. He walked me thru all the settings and I did have it all correct, he said "your good to go" to which I said "I still have nothing." This is the part where I feel real stupid! He says well you have to scroll up into Michigan and you will start to see trails and Bam there they where, I'm such an idiot! Thanks to all that tried to help me out.
