I do, and have the unit set up to go back to the battery as a backup when the 12 volt D.C. is turned off. This unit can save and show multiple tracks. I found a very helpful tool in this unit too. It allows me to walk the perimeter of an area (food plots for hunting), and then calculate the total area. Helps tremendously when ordering fertilizer and seed.
