I hear a grinding noise from the brake area when the sled is first accelerating forward like its not engaging in the forward mode completely. It does accelerate OK and does not make this noise in reverse.
Is there a adjustment to make it engage better or could it be something else?

Could it be possible that your reverse adjustment is totally out of wack or not returning? Sounds like its stuck in reverse and when you want to go forward its grinding the gears. Just a thought.
