I want to put a set of bars with the j pre bent in the bars, but i want the type of grip warmers that run to the end of the bar, i know there are some after market units but they all seem to be the hi/lo style, any advice would be of assistance.

Most guys are using RSI bars, heaters and grips. You can get them at dennis kirk. The stock bars don't come with heaters already and you have to buy everything seperate which costs a ton of cash. Go aftermarket for half.

I agree with this.
If that set-up isn't warm enough, I can fix you up with a Warm Hands Controller.

Would suggest using large heat shrink between the warmer elements and the bars for a thermal break.

'06 (update bars) and up Apex bars work good also, may find them used.
Love the heat to the end of the hooks!

Hope this helps! :-o

I just bought some '06 apex bars, did I miss out on the good warmers?

I plan to wire them series

If you have the '06 bars heated to the ends (not seperate hooks), you already have the updated bars.
The early '06 bars had seperate hooks.

You will want to wire them in Parallel.
One hot(Yellow/Red) to each grip, and one ground(Black) to each grip.

Hope this helps! :-o
