Guys, I'm looking to do a group buy of 5 or more people for the LM-1 air/fuel ratio meter. Here is some of the specifics on the system. It was considered the best product at the latest SEMA show. The data logger will mount in the handle bar pad and will withstand the winter weather! Here's details about the kit.

LM-1: Digital Air/Fuel Ratio Meter
Tuning an engine for maximum power previously required long trial-and-error sessions on a dynamometer. With the LM-1, precise AFR measurement allows the user to correctly adjust many variables- including carburetor jetting, fuel injection, turbo fuel curves, etc.- without long and expensive dyno sessions. The meter’s digital signal processing technology provides data on exactly how rich or lean an engine is running at any load. The LM-1’s self-calibrating circuitry also compensates for changes in temperature, altitude, and sensor condition.

The instrument can sample and store the air-fuel-ratio and the other sensor data internally in operation for later analysis on a personal computer. At a sampling rate of 12 samples/second the instrument can store up to 44 minutes worth of data in non-volatile memory. The data can be downloaded to a personal computer using a standard serial port and viewed/analyzed by the included software or any standard spreadsheet program.

The kit comes with the LM1, Bosch 5-wire Wideband 02 Sensor, Analog Output Cable, 10ft. Sensor Cable, 10ft. Power Cable (Cig), 6ft. Serial Cable for PC Connection, Bung/Plug Kit, Software CD, and Quick Start Guide. The basic cost is $350 if I can get 5 people I can get the price knocked down to $300. Please let me know if this interests any of you!

you might want to look at the AEM Wide Band. I know alot of peolpe with the sport compacts are running those. Stewart Warner will be coming out with one in the near future with data log, averageing of afr.

02 sensor

i am also looking for a in dash recording unit... say the AEM gauge mentioned in previous post... looks great, not sure it will record however...

44 minutes of recording with this unit! Also you can mount the recording unit under your hood, in the tool kit or anywhere and buy the additioanl analog guage to mount in your dash instead.

srxspec.... are you talking about the aem unit > if so, looks like what i am looking for.... aslo, have you run your turbo with n20... looking for someone who has run a boondocker kit.... have one, do not believe the instructions are correct in venting of n20 back to carbs.. thanks kip

Kip...i am speaking of the Innovate Motorsport LM-1 unit. I have not run the boondocker kit on a turbo. I think there's a few folks out west that have though? I will do some checking and see what I can come up with.
