GT windshield/hand guards?

I am loving the GT pics! What are you guys thinking about the windshield and hand guards? They look like they might be cold? I didn't see the price of the med shield.

Any way, what are you GT guys going to do? Shield, Guards, maybe nothing?

I guarentee you wont be riding with the stock windshield.. Absolutely no wind protection.. from helmet to hands..

The stock windsheild is for looks only... thats it..

I ordered the new lower windshield from Yamaha that is black to chrome. I hope it is high enough! I am also mounting powermad hand guards with the attaching mirrors. Riverrat...

I agree after testing You might be warmer with no wind shield.

The wind shield should be no big deal. I ride this way all the time with a MX helmet and never get cold. My heated hand grips don't work so road riding gets my fingers pretty cold because your sitting down when riding on the road. In the trails I stand up all day. My new Apex GT will be just fine.
