Just thought id save everyone a headache since I couldnt find this info anywhere.
Installed coolant guage (autometer) which required the white wire to be attached to a dash light in the Apex. The wire is the RED with a WHITE STRIPE. This wire is on when you turn the key and stays on when running, and turns off with the key.

I'd splice it up to your 12v accessory outlet, the wires are very easy to find...my .02

Does the accessory outlet turn off with the key? If I recall correctly, I tapped into the tail light circuit for mine.

Yes it shuts off when sled motor is not running...even when you turn the key on its off...I'm hooking up my LED set-up on this outlet.
