Just finished 300 - miles on the Gt and the mode button will not select the shock, just toggles off hand warmer to gas gauge.

My sled is iced up heavy, so I can not see but I am guessing I have a broken wire and so there is no second input and so the sled does not give that option. AM I even close?

It will be a while before I get it thawed out to see. Seemed to ride ok, I do need less wt shift and more spring tension ( to keep skis on the ground and lessen the bottoming respectivley)

Yes, I had the same experience 2 weeks ago - and it was a broken wire. Had it replaced and now working again. I'm pretty sure there is a service bulletin on re-routing the wire.

Yamadoo, I don't know if this will hlp you but this is what happened to me on the first ride of the year. This is funny at least I think so! I too was having the same problem. The first ride of the year was in Quebec (last week in January) and I could'nt wait to get out on the trail. half mile down the trail and I wanted to change my shock setting on my 06 GT. Same thing happened to me. Pushed the mode button to shock went to adjust the shock and it switched back to the handwarmer mode. I'm thinking WTF, just had the shoick revalved and it worked fine in the garage. Tried it six or seven more times and the same thing. After several more miles down the trail and several more attempts to adjust the shock same thing, kept switching back to the handwarmer mode :o| Now I'm pissed, it always seems to be something, WTF!! Then it hit me, "you dumbass use the other button" I said to myself, the one on the left (brake) side!! Presto, I was back in business all systems go!! I laughed my #*$&@ off for the nest mile down the trail. I guess the excitement got me a little confused! LOL!

So I guess before you go thaw your sled you may just want to check and see if you are pushing the right button, or in this case the left one! Good luck.

Buddy had the same problem , fixed it and was OK, I have an 07 and apperently the wire is not passed the same way. There is a very specific way to pass and tie-rap the wire.

Electronic Shock

Mine came unhooked at the connection above your right foot. Need to remove the lower panel (2 bolts) and then make sure connection is hooked together tightly.
