Skydog - I see you have the same hi/low switches as I do. Did you have to do any adjusting on the switches to alter high/low pressure levels? I guess closed is what turbo is adjusted at and open is for higher turbo pressure.
Anyone who knows - I have the switch installed in the front on the left side of hadlebars, opposite side of ignition key. Would there be any problems installing it this far from the turbo, mcx rear.

If that line gets pinched at all you will lose boost. When you close the switch all the boost psi is going to the waste gate to dump off boost. When you open the switch it bleeds off line psi so it take more boost to move the waste gate.

No adjustment on the switches you adj waste gate rod.

RXrider, That is where everyone I ride with mounts them. We've had no problems. One has been running since spring of '03. There is ample room along the seat and tank for the hose to run without interference.

Woodsrider, Skydog - What is the difference in boost psi between hi/low on the switch? I guess you can adjust it by changing the jet on the line between the turbo and wastegate?

RXRIDER, There should be approximately a 4-psi differential between the high and low setting. the way you adjust your pressure is by adjusting the linkage that connects your waste gate actuator to the waste gate. If my memory serves me right, you shorten the linkage to increase the pressure and lengthen the linkage to decrease the pressure.

- Which one? I have 6
If anyone is worried about pinching the lines just use some 1/4" copper flex pipe. I went to that after I pinched one of my lines once. Never had that problem again.

Just go to your local NAPA auto parts store and get some 1/4 inch air brake line. It is plastic (light weight) but VERY hard so it will not cruch. It is also fairly cheap.
