HAMMER's (Service Bulletin)

Wow, Hammer good luck on getting back onboost. You have given me something to think about.

Did you have any warning signs, lack of energy, chest pain?
No, that's what's spooky, had a fitness assessment in September (strength/cardio) results basically showed super stud, with a fitness age half my actual age ... I felt perfectly normal right before with a little bit of an ache in my left elbow ... then BAM !!!
(see pic for visual reference......lol)

If you choose to get yourself checked out ... look at the classic indicators for arterial issues ... cholesterol and blood pressure.

HAMMER ON!!!

hmmm....I've got two fuel pumps, two sets of injectors, low comp pistons, and turbo with big air intake on my sled.
I wonder if your Doc could give me a similar set up....two hearts, oversized arteries with a second set of capillaries (should indirectly lower compression; ie. blood pressure), and increase performance (my wife would like that). WOT on my sled should take care of my need for additional air intake.

I just turned 43....

Life becomes very special now HAMMER. Glad you made 'er through.

Holy crap Hammer!!
Glad you're OK and God gave you an extra shot!
Should be a wake up call for all of us.
Take it easy and recover for next season and beyond.
The leg looks wicked. At least they didn't have to crack you open!
Get well!! Best to you and the family and God bless.
Regards,
Ross

Hammer,

I haven't been on the forum much lately so I didn't know you were down. I talked to your Dad today and he said you are on the mend. I'm glad to hear it!!!

Yep, seized up the ticker, so I had to cancel out on our ride next weekend ... see ya next season ... thankfully there will be a next season for me !!!

Ya I made appt. at Mayo in Rochester jun 4th for my bi-annual overhaul that I'm 2 years behind on, they have an exec program that you can go in and see all the specialists you need to see in a day and a half, they are very thorough and give you the results the same day! wonder if they have a boost therapist there?

Hammer, glad your (body) mod work is coming out well. We saved a line on Grey Butte for you, so come and get it when you you are back in action!
