Hey guys,
This will be my first TY ride and I talked my old man into coming with me. He is excited to get some miles on his ole vector. I am excited as well because we dont have many years left for us to ride together so that rules!
Besides fun up the wazoo at night how does the riding typically work? Do we all go on the same route or just split up ride and meet back at the Ramada in the eve's? Any formal things planned?
Sorry I'm a planner and if its all willy nilly have fun I can handle that too LOL

We like to stick together as a group. That is what TY rides are all about hanging out riding b.s.ing, just having a good time and putting a face with the screen names. If the group gets to be too big we may split up but will try to meet up for lunch or something like that. we are going to start having an evening riders meeting to help eliminate any confusion in the morning. this way Everyone will know what time the group is leaving and where the group is going.
You will have a Great time! Once you go on a TY ride you are hooked and will make it a seasonal thing! Glad to hear you can make it!

Anybody coming up from SE MN? I'll drive there to get Dad but we have a 4 place trailer and only our two sleds on there.

I'm half-tempted to go on this one if I could bum a ride from you Kinger. I'm just down the road on Hwy. 9 in Cresco. I'd be more than happy to kick in on gas. Would I be able to keep up with your supercharged monster on my dinky little Phazer?

Man it stinks I only have a one place trailer from Iowa to MN then taking dads 4 place from there if you can get to north (oronoco) of rochester by all means come on up, well meet there and take off!

I shouldn't have any problem getting someone to haul me up there. What time would you want to meet on Friday? Also, do I need to book myself a room or are you up for sharing? I have no problem getting my own but sharing is cheap. This is gonna rock! Never rode in Michigan before!

were going to be leaving rochester around 10-11am THURSDAY coming back Sunday. You'll need your own room and I think there is one left. The one we got has only 1 king bed so that means I will be on the floor already. If you dont get a room and dont mind the floor we can all bunk up fair warning though my old man snores like a lumber jack!

They were out of TY allotted rooms, BUT he gave me the discount price on a King Single anyways. Room is booked and I'm 90% sure i'm going. Just waiting for my install kit for my M10 from FAST and me sled will be ready to go!

I am not sure Peter. The more i think about it the more I think I can make it? It all depends on how Jen is doing and If I have any extra cash lying around. I really want to go. Does anyone have an extra bed in their room? I've got a 3 place enclosed trailer if someone might be looking to carpool?peterdb said:

i got a gig friday the 17th, then i was going to head up to 'the farm' in hurley sometime on saturday..... ride sunday thru tuesday (providing they have good snow). if you want to join me there maybe, and anyone else for that matter.
