just like soldier's papa for the mirrors but with the hard plastic FX Nytro hand guards mounted to the mirror mounts fit in same holes.

Bought a 2018 Sidewinder with the Black Arctic Cat LED Handguards. I totally loved the look but the quality was not there for the long haul. The brass mounts that are embedded in the plastic that the screws go in to to mount to the bars pull out over time and then they are trash. I tried drilling through the brass insert and adding a pin, but that failed as well. Also, the mirrors that you can add are too small and if you are a tall rider, they can not be positioned correctly. I just replaced the entire setup with the Powermadd Black/Black w. LED and mirrors. The mounts are all metal and the mirrors are bigger so will def hold up better. My Arctic Cat set is like new if anyone want to buy cheap and see if they can fix them...hit me up.

I had two pairs of the black ones also...both sets of LED's went out on me after a day or two of riding. Loved the look, but the lighting was total junk. Too bad cuz they were nice looking. Bought the white Powermadde Sentinels with the LED's two years ago and been great since day one. I have an 18 50th, so Loved the black Cat ones with the LED's, but after two sets crap the bed...had to change.

I have the white arctic cat LED ones and I am on my 3rd pair in about a year. The lights seem to last about 3 rides! Very frustrating as I love the hand guards and the looks.

I have the Powermadd Sentinel.
Pros
-look good,
-not too over powering,
-just enough wind deflection
-you can use Powermadd guantlets that wrap around the guard really well on the cold days.
Cons
- imo they need to come out a bit further towards the end of the bar
-for the mirror option to work, the sled behind you has to be virtually on your bumper to see it.
-watch the Hayes Brake Mount - by using it, if you adjust the brake lever downward - you will be adjusting the handguard downward as well as the two (brake & handguard mount) are integrated. I chose not to use it, and went for the standard mount kit.

Hi Winterwolf,
Do you happen to remember the part number of the ones that failed on you?
They changed from #7639-393 to a new #7639-779, I’m hoping the newer were updated and will now last!
I had a pair of the older 393’s and they too failed on me after one season...

Be aware that the Hayes brackets from PowerMadd are made to replace the upper clamp of the Master cylinder, it will not work on the new, pivoting clamp type they are using on the 2021 models. It can be made to work with an extra clamp half however.

With my wrap i ended up with a small windshield to match. I need to look at buying guards or muffs for this season. Anyone have any good tested recommendations?
