if i turn my hand/thumb warmers off then unhook them and the switch (completely eliminating the warmer system) , will it throw a code?
I've wired rsi elements, and nci thumb drive element, direct to battery via dial resistor and relay from taillight wire. (bypassing all ecu controll)
with the switch connected it could be bumped causing a code if warmers aren't connected (no ohms load). if i can unhook the switch also without a code it eliminates that possibility.

yeah. i was hoping if i unhooked the whole system while it was turned off that it wouldn't. oh well. 8 ohm resistors i guess.

I lost my left grip warmer last winter. The element burnt out...was ripped where it turns down on the grip. Replaced it that night with an aftermarket element. No codes thrown..just age and wear
