They really are getting draconian with their rules.

Yup imagine that!!! I even would drain the hazardous fluids after I rode it up into the cargo bay. I watch those guys on sled necks all the time riding in exotic places how else do they get their sleds there?
Hell I would even sit on it for the flight and save them the seat Then I could say I joined the mile high club! Riding is just like sex but less chances of getting hurt!

I'm not sure about that. Maybe someone can post an answer or maybe that's a question for Powermadd or Skinz.

Well you can do anything with the right amount of $$$$ and a little equipment. The Skinz most of are using have no mounts they velcro on.

Really don't wanna scrap the mountain strap. Has anyone ever cut the mountain strap in spots where the powermadd mounts would go?

I plan at looking at this very thing next week when I return from Turkey Day Festivities. However I am not really a fan of the Mtn Strap, I thing AC screwed mine up. It isn't solid so it just spins on the bars any way. Maybe the PowerMadd Mounts will pinch it in place....Really don't wanna scrap the mountain strap. I used these to stabilize the Cold Guards, similar to Skinz.
Used a small automotive dart to secure.
With the mounts, these will set you back about $80.00 including shipping.

I used the powermadd handguards and they came with special mounting brackets for the brake side. It replaces the top mounting hardware for the break housing. And throttle side I just had to move the throttle over just a little. I'll post some pics in a little bit. The handguards are really close to hitting the stock windshield on my xtx, but have about 1/4 inch to a 1/2 inch clearance.
