Just spent last weekend in -8 weather. Only used hand warmers intermittently with the Powermadd Gauntlets. Most of the time my warmers were off. As far as getting your hands in and out it was an adjustment but did not hamper accessibility. There were a couple times I didnt take my hand out on a corner to alert oncoming sleds of the sleds behind me to make sure I maintained control of the sled. Overall I would recommend the gauntlets. They are a quality addition for cold weather riding.

They look nice specially with that windshield. I have the same one. Also for $60 you can get the LED light kit for them. Looking to purchase these also.

Ok. Was out cleaning the sled up today (finally) and snapped some pix of them. I had put them on quick back in the spring when I got them to see how they would look and how they would be on my SideWinder. Here are pix of the guard with mirror and the guard with the Armour and mirror. If using the Armour it covers a bit of the mirror and does not allow you to fold the mirrors closed. (i forgot to take a pic of them folded closed). I think I will look for some round tuning fork stickers to put on the back side of the mirrors to break up that big black blob with a screw in the middle.
The left guard uses the existing bottom mount of your break mount. You take off the top part and put the guard mount it it's place. They provide a longer bolt that replaced the front bolt. The rear bolt is recycled from your original break mount. The Right guard gets mounted to the bars next to the throttle block.
I have not used them yet, but so far I like them. Note: If you watched any of the promo videos that show the guy bending them. I have to let you know that they do not have much flex. He makes it look like they bend right over. They don't.

Saw a guy with gauntlets, they looked very durable, very secure and maintained a nice opening to get hands in and out. Quality looking product for sure.

I have the Gauntlets as well and they are hugeeee. I will only use them for extreme cold. Sadly they will not work with the armor on. Least I don't think they will. If I were to do it again I would go with Cold Guards vs regular gauntlets. So much smaller, they stay open and don't block the guards. I just had a buddy order some for his cat. He should have them by the end of this week/early next week. I can't wait to see how they work out for him. http://www.coldguards.com

I have the cold guards and like the size and look. Do a great job keeping hands warm all the time. I struggle with the brake a bit. Can't get my fingers over the brake lever only can use one finger high on the lever. Would like to see how your buddy likes them.

Interesting. Did you get the ext hook grip? Or the smaller one? Both my Wife & I have no issues, with reaching the brake, on the ext hook grip size.
Here's mine.

Easy in, easy out, great access to controls, excellent wind protection.

Man, y'all must have your bars way back. I have these without the flares and they just barely clear the stock windshield with where my bars are at. No way would they clear with the flares.

Not sure what you mean by EXT hook grip. Can you explain?
That's the size from the drop menu on the Cold Guard order page.

The Ext. (extended) hook grip is made a little larger so the fabric doesn't flatten out when installed.
Brake level is easy to reach. However, the parking brake Is Not easily accessible. I don't use the parking brake anyway.

Good to know. If I decided to get them I would have ordered the reg hook grip ones. Thanks!
