Hard Rock motorsports exhaust

No I like the aftermarket systems. If this is adjustable you should be able to quiet it down.
Actually Big D has the hauck full sytem header and muffler and the dnr came to hauck's shop and did a test on Big D sled inside the building and it passed all the deciable test on his rx1.
really! thats awesome! you know , i really like hauck but his system seems so dang expensive. for a hobby this stuff gets pricy! i may have to wait till next year for an exhaust ? we'll see....

okay boys, here we go. I had talked with a guy named Jason today for about 1/2 hour. WOW, What an exhaust. Where do I begin......

First off, the entire from the header back complete system weighs only 8 lbs. That's like atleast a 40+ weight savings, I think, from stock. With the RX1, the full exhaust, intake and the power commander is aprox. a 15-18hp gain. The exhaust is 2" pipe, the adustable cans worj like a shutter on your camera, full 2" opened all the way and can close down to about 5/8".

Are you sitting down for this? The dec. level at full open is about 115-120 dec. Ouch. But can be turned down.

Cost...Full system....$1090.00
Slip on cans only......$800. Something.

There is much more info on this system. It was alott of info for the time I was on the phone with him. He is suppose to be sending me an email about everything we talked about so I can digest it all. I'm sure I am missing stuff here, but this is the just of it at this point.

A few other points: There is dicount with a group buy, and he says he is going to be sending out all the info to most Yamaha dealers about being a dealer for this exhaust....so, hey kevin, get in on this, I'll be the first one to buy one.

oh-yeah, mark....no back ground checks buddy. lol I was to busy listening to the birds fly, watching the butterflies fly...my stomach was in knots. Yep, in love. lol

lol.... nice work capn'! now take a litle breather , get some RnR and report back here in the morning!

well there really isnt a reason to not go with the full system now is there? its only 290ish more...

that sounds like a heck of a system. Time to find a grand to spend!

Wow that is some good info I like when people who sell stuff actually tell you all the features! LOL Seems like you have to pry any more to get any info.

The DB seems very high almost to the point of being unbelivable, 115-120db is the equvalent of a rock concert and is the threshhold of pain for the ear drum. See this:

On the power you said RX1 and then power commander, I assume you meant that for the apex guys?

Thanks for the info!!

Yeah, I thought 115DB was high as heck. As soon as I told him I was from Wisconsin, he said I will absolutely smash the legal limit here. lol

He said the rx1 dynoed in at that hp. Then in the same breath, he mentioned the Apex, but was not dynoed. The RX1 has some good numbers. I told him I had an 07 Attak, and he told me he hasn't installed one on them yet and wasn't sure if the Apex would fit as well. Aaren't these sleds the same? I told him I thought they were. I'm willing to try a kit. lol

I should have his email in a day or two to explain everything in his words.

I'll have to check with Tom before I post the entire email, though. Don't want to make any one mad at me. :rocks:

sounds great, I'm also confused on the weight, on the site they state each can is 7lbs and there are 2 so to me it equals 14lbs plus the piping. Also what is it made of to get it that light? Would be great to take off 30+ lbs but I don't think that is possible. Thanks for the follow up.

I'm pretty sure he said 8 lbs for the entire system on the Apex.

We'll see for sure tho when I get the email. lol

I have sent Hard Rock Motorsports 5 E-Mails..

With...

No Replies.. :( :( :(

Me too, if they can't reply to a e-mail about something they decided to make and sell then I will not be buying. Just because they are open in theday doesn't mean we all have time in a day to call. e-mail is so easy I just can hardly stand businesses that wont return them.

I hear ya. I just called and left Jason a message to check his damn emails. lol

I told him the sooner he replies the sooner he may get some business.
I know he is a busy man, building the site, and summer bikes stuff, but that still doesn't make it alright to not return emails.

We'll see if he returns the emails soon. I REALLY want one of these systems. Especially after watching the above link. That sled going across the lake sounded something fierce.

Just left yet another message. WTF? I'm trying hard not to let this be a reflection of service and support. I'm really interested in this exhaust but hey, I'll let it go due to the lack of responses.
