Hard to steer

Tighten centre shock to put more pressure on the front of the track and loosen off your front shock springs, that should lighten the front and make it easier to turn.

Yes by the springs, u want to remove pressure, stiffen the centre skid shock by the spring as well, this applies more pressure to the front of the track. Thus shifting some weight off the skis. Now if you have floats remove some air from the front shocks and add some to the centre shock.

^^exactly...and Id start at full soft on the front ski shocks settings and adjust from there...so number one and less rebound on the lower adjuster..dial up from there..

Any pics of this procedure..I'm am dealing with heavy steering also.

Is there some kind of trick to loosening the front springs on the Winder? I got the front end up off the ground but can not loosen the locking collar from the adjusting nut. Even with the spring pressure off.

You want to loosen the TOP ring on the shock. you will see two of them with notches on them.. Loosen top then second .. turn spring one full turn (loose/less compression on shock)maybe 1.5 turns. then tighten down first ring and then second.. They have two shock tools in kit.. I use these to tighten>>turn top ring one way and the other ring the other way against the top one.. Repeat on other side.. I use a caliper to measure the threads on the shocks to make them equal. So they are both same compression, ride!

How much are you guys tightening the center spring? When I looked at this, back end in the air I could turn the spring by hand. Very loose, so I tightened it 1/4". We will see, may have to go more.

i believe Cannadale mentioned 1 full turn at a time. That may have been for shocks so not sure
