Has anyone installed a 2.5 Challenger in an RX1

Will it fit with 8 tooth drivers ?

There was some talk on this a while back but if memory serves me it'll go in with 8 tooth 2.52's or 7 tooth 3.0's but it is really tight. As a minimum you need to trim the fin off the front cooler and it'll still rub if your track is too loose. That's just what I remember I think Freak had one then switched it out cause it hit something in there. 8 tooth 3.0 is a no go.

This is a great question!! I have the mav under my 04 RX which is 2-1/4". It is pretty tight but I think the 2-1/2 would fit if you trimmed that fin down on the cooler. I hope someone chimes in that has dones it for my next track will be the extreme and I would like to know for sure.

If you trim the middle fin on the front cooler and a bolt that holds the chaincase (for the 16" wide- it's obvious which one will hit the track) it fits fine but very tight with 7 tooth 3" drivers.
PM me if you have any more questions and I'll think about it some more. Those are the only "issues" I remember at this point.
