has anyone put this mirror kit on their Apex

I have this kit but not sure about putting them on .
Have all summer and fall to think about it!

My buddy has them on his Apex. They were a real PITA to install. 4-5 hour if you have some good mechanical skills. Have a look at the Arctic Cat windshield bolt on ones. Kimpex and Cat have them. Easy to mount and a lot less money.

I already bought them , just never got around to putting them on yet .
I have all summer to put them on so installation is not an issue .
Is your buddy happy with how they work ?
good line of vision ?
I hear they maybe a problem to use the cover , with them on , any idea if that is true ?

I know he likes them. They worked well when I was on his sled for a ride. Just that they were very difficult to install and took him forever. He gave up on the complication of the install and he just dropped the sled off at the dealer to install them for him cause he was getting frustrated. The dealer took 4 hours. He was lucky the dealer was nice and only charged him an hour labour, but told him never bring it back. LOL. On the other hand I really don't know about the cover cause he stores his sled in a garage and has an enclosed trailer for transport.

any chance there is a picture of his sled showing the mirrors , as the directions are not very clear.

If it is the ones that mounts on the windshield, I just put them on my

these are the mirrors that mount on the hood , and are relatively new , as my dealer had never installed a set .
I figured mounting on the hood , they would vibrate less than windshield or the ones on the handlebars .
There is not a windshield set for the 2015 model, that I am aware of .

Hey if they fit onto your stock Yamaha windshield ok please post a pic,i had them on my procross cat shield and loved them,no vibration at all,and good field of view.

Are these the mirrors that sledheadgeorge posted a link to? Yours look like a really nice fit and I've been thinking of doing that as well.
