has anyone tried hiper fax sliders?

That's a new record. You don't even have the machine yet and you're already in the market for replacement hyfax. Yamaha should be proud.

Save your money for the shocks you're going to need.

riding here is awesome, you never know when you might run into a polar bear, on the northside around the village gets some pretty good powder, otherwise, it's mostly wind blown hard pack trails.

talking about polar bears, recently there was one wandering far south here on or near nelson island, and we dont get polar bears around here, in between kipnuk and chefornak... kinda strange tho, guess its global warming... anyways, i have 1000 miles, slides didnt eat through yet, still good, worn, no worries, winter storm beaten hard packed snow across the tundra, ungroomed...

i have them on my mtx, no wheels in the skid except for the rear (two wheel kit) and the upper rear idlers. with over 500 miles no noticable wear on the slides. the wife has an identicle sled with yellow oem accy hyfax, wasted in less than the same time frame, and i mean wasted. almost to the aluminum in 2 rides. and she has more idlers than i.

are they expensive? yep, do they work? sure do.
if they made yellow for the yamaha's i'd buy a set tomorrow for the wifes sled. ski

I had hiperfax on my 2005 RX-1 mountain. They had 2200 miles on them when I sold the sled and they were not even half wore. The track has to be fully clipped. It is worth the money, not to have to worry about them.

They lasted 2000+ miles in my turbo RX-1 back in 2007, a few miles of high speed runs (230 kmh or 142 mph speedo) on the ice killed them, they were hardly worn prior to the runs on the ice.
