I will be putting a Ski-doo SC-4 136" in my buddies Attack, Do you guys have any advice???

I know you will ask why....

It has 8400 miles on it and he has had the shock blow on him twice and broke the rails twice.

50 year old man that trail rides, not a kid jumping houses.

Thanks guys

The last time I have seen a sled chuck a track was on a Polaris that had a PSI motor in it and a track that didnt hold up.

I would say if your buddy is unhappy with the skid change it out! There are post of those skids going into the RX1's for more bite and transfer.

I sent you a email listing reasons why you have pictures like you do. They have been discussed before. Hope that helps.

Did he have a repair done on the track?
That is what my zr 800 track looked like.
The repairs never hold up with studs.

Its a ripsaw with 8000 miles on it. After reading up on the posts, its a common problem with that many miles

I see slp wear pads on that track, with some missing. I suspect that this is the reason for premature rail failure - the SLP pads can slice things up when they wear down too far. Changing the skid won't solve this problem!!!

He is not changing the skid because of the track blowing, he wants to change it because he blew the monoshock twice and had it rebuilt (by some advertisers on this site so no names from me) so he just wants to try something different. He is not upset that he blew the track he knows he was not easy on it and 8400 miles, now it is a 1.25 predator track fully clipped with internal/external drivers. ;)!
