FYI - for those who haven't seen results ...
Dominic Earnst riding Eagle 1 won Outlaw Class at Hay Days 2025 with a winning ET of 3.346 at 159.91 MPH (in 500'). 60 ft reaction time was .978. All nitromethane powrered this year - not a blend of other fuels. Announcers said Eagle 1 has somewhere close to 1,000 HP. Dominic said on post-race interview next year the sled will have 1,500+ HP. He said the goal is 175-180 MPH in 500'. I think it's a 174" chassis. Lots of 1" wide chisels on track.
BTW- really good crowds partly due to weather which was highs in low 60's which was really nice for once. Usually it's mid 80's.
Cat announced a 600 Catalyst eith EPS. Really? Why does a 600 need EPS?
2026 998 TCat was boring. Same same.
Zero presence by TD, Hurricane, PEFI.

If I was in the market for a 600, I'd be all over that EPS

we are thinking of going to hay days next year. It is a bit of a poke from the east coast but it is something i would like to go to once.
thinking of driving out and camping

Yeah, camping is huge there. Lots of people using everything from horse trailers to tents to pop-up campers, to just a pickup with a topper. Tons of golf carts, Segway, electric scooters, and just bicycles. It's sooo big It's nice to have something to ride on or in. Lots of food vendors. When the weather is so nice, it was a fun time. Had some rain on Saturday which stalled the racing so Sunday it was non-stop racing starting at 0700. Race results posted on Velocity Race Mgmt Facebook site.
