Wow seems like alot of extra work to win by 3 lengths.....They had a tip that one of the Bikemans had alcohol or octane booster in a frame tube running to an injector so they tore us all down.
But as I've been told before, "there's cheaters and losers. Who are you gona be?!" I always ended up being a loser..... BUT took 2nd place in year end points in the 700 pro and semi pro classes I ran.

Yeah but as you know it takes a few $$$ to go fast and a lot more $$$ to go even faster. The problem is that they probably have less $$ in the xf1100 T with just a flash, pipe and intake, shorter shocks Than I do but I could not run on a sled that sounds like John Deere built it!
Sounds like a fun event regardless!
When is this next event?!? Would love to make a run at it and show some Blue support
Well just looked it up and its cancelled due to poor ice conditions on the bay... www.ashlandkingofthebay.net
Crap I know I came home and saw the news it is breaking up all the way into shore. And 46 deg later this week Guess I will see you all on the grass circuit.

looks like straight pipe on the one in the last pic anyway! Funny, my buddy said it looked like they hit Bikeman the hardest and if they do one than they have to do them all or it would hit the fan! 360 hp, something is up, no one else is any where close to that from what I'm hearing? They don't look slammed but I'm sure there using the rule's to there full extent! LOL Well my sled isn't here yet any way, suppose to be this week!

Arctic cat guys ALWAYS have to be the center of attention , with their loud clothes, Bling Bling billet garbage, fancy wrap jobs on the machines. Every Arctic cat guy I know also owns a Harley.
Just sayin
Would be nice if someone would just hand it too them at the track. Looks like next year I will have to turn it up too 400hp and add a bootle of lead concentrate when nobody is looking.

I was going to do the pump gas shoot out but chose not to just for some of the reasons you are stating above. Unless the rules are going to be completely enforced then it is just a waste of money. Make the trail ride through snow, roads, twisties, etc and then see how many sleds are really pump gas trail sleds. I don't see many trail sleds running around in snow with air cleaners sticking out the front of the sleds. Cool to see all the sleds run though. Trail sleds, race sleds, etc. I was messing around side racing some with my viper turned up to 10#'s. I had it on 15#'s the day before but ran out of race fuel so had to turn it back down to 10#'s Saturday. Either way, it surprised a lot of sleds.
You could not smell any race gas because there were to many 2 strokes and they smelled bad!!!LOL, I wanted to run the weenie roast pump gas shoot out with my Nytro! What happened to no slammed suspensions, no studder or two step's! What were they looking for with removing gas tanks? Removing pannels is not a problem but I don't think I want to try getting my trail tank off and back on out there. I suppose the cheaters ruened that to! Did you smell any race fuel on the ride? 360 HP on pump gas??? Maybe I'll save my $75 and just have fun lake racing for free!

It was fun anyway for my first time getting to know the rules. My heart did sink after I paid to register then pulled up and saw those guys. It is all good I do know when I get the other one back from Ulmer they will eat my dust!! Because last year at 13 #'s on it I beat 2 D&D sleds with mine in trail form and theirs set up like these.

Ulmer did my sled. I am running 10-11# pump gas trail. 14# with a mix and 17-18# straight fuel for 500', 660' & 1000' racing. I trail ride 99% of the time, but it sure is fun to fuel it up and squeeze the trigger. You will definitely enjoy yours when you get it done.
Oh I know it. It used to be 9 & 13 was the max we could get out of that turbo which is now in my stock motor 15 with no shim and an EVO flash. I am hitting 10#s on low with 91 and 13 on race gas in that one. the new one will be well over 20#'s with PCV and pod 300. 144" x 14" hacksaw with 244 studs and suspension lowered, But as it looks now the season is done! Mid 40's and rain on Friday.Ulmer did my sled. I am running 10-11# pump gas trail. 14# with a mix and 17-18# straight fuel for 500', 660' & 1000' racing. The weenie roast will likely still happen, I think it's supposed to cool off next week again right?
It looks that way now if only Allen gets it done!
I just went to the site and it is still on and it looks like they have pump gas shoot out on Friday and a cruiser shoot out on Saturday with 25 mile trail ride but no rules listed for that one.
It appears that the Saturday one has no restrictions other than trail studs and be trail-able so all I have to do is remove 250 studs and replace them and I can run the 14 with 20#'s of boost on race gas and the 15 on Friday night.
