Has anyone played around with there head light on these thing's? Me and a few riding buddies can't stand the light's on these thing's. I been wanting to do samething about it but just one of those thing's you don't think about till you ride it at night. Problem is you can't get the light to shine down the trail. it's bright everywhere else though. And yes I tried adjusting the screw's on it. I have to ride it with the low beams on but it doesn't shine very far.

same problem. We had to quit riding at night because you couldn't see a damn thing.

I run 55/100's ....turn the lows down low so when the highs are on for night riding they shine far and perfect

They have weak headlights, I do the majority of my riding at night and was also dissappointed with the lighting. Work on getting it adjusted properly so you can use high beam.

I upgraded my light to a hid system. I was skeptical at first and even carried bulbs with me just in case something went wrong. 1500 miles so far and no problem. I leave my high beams on and have the light as low as it goes. when other sleds are approaching i switch to low beams as a courtsey.
these things are bright. so bright the guy in front of me complains that my light washes out his light. But when I am leading it as close as it gets to day time riding.
kit cost me $140.
best investment made so far on my sled

My biggest complain with it was that fact that snow sits on the ledge in front of the headlight, ever time snow gets thrown over the hood it loads that up with snow. I am thinking of putting a flexible plastic cover over the headlight to try and keep from having to brush the crap off all the time. I'd alos like to know where you got your HID kit

for night riding, just get a helmet light. Cyclops works great. I have the HID solstice now, but I had the regular halogen before. Either is a huge huge huge upgrade compared to the stock light. Seems all the stock light is good for is catching snow..
Oh, I use the helmet light in the mountains for late night powder sessions. Works awesome!!
I am going to remove my headlight, and wire my handwarmers straight to the battery. Maybe put on an LED light or something for the sled, so I can find it when I fall off at night.. ha ha.
Helmet lights man, seriously.

I've heard really good things about the Cyclops, I hope to have one in the next week or so.
