The arp studs in my block is tork to 42 foot lbs .At 22 psi she still blows a bit of antifreeze on 660 foot runs .I have another block that is dock tile sleves .I was thinking of going deeper with the arp studs by threading the hole down a bit more. The last block I put togeather was tork at 42 foot lbs and crack just were the stud ended in the block. :o| I want to tork it at 60 foot lbs this time .So the question is should the arp stud be bottom out or turn back about one thread with lock tite before torking the head down ?THANKS

Describe what you mean by "blowing antifreeze"...
The extra heat generated by being boosted makes the coolant level raise more then stock (thermal expansion), especially at the higher HP levels. so typically have to run the reservoir level near the bottom to prevent overflowing out the tube.
Misleading as a head gasket leak... so before you possibly waste your time and get the same results.
I have been running 25 lbs with stock head studs and no coolant pushing issues. If you bottom the ARP stud out in the block and torque, it will break the block.

We have a custom, long thread stud that will install deaper into the block as well as alow torqueing the head to 60lbs.Generally we install the studs and ship the block back to you for $500.It will make the block much stronger then stock.

THanks Dave,I plan on getting one of your strong blocks this summer .Just want to get by for the last race this winter, thanks
