None, looking now!
Well, I decided to go with a Hauck Full Mountain system for my Supercharged Attak project. 7-9 HP gains are claimed. The kit consists of a header, pipes and a plug that can be installed to one side to reduce noise levels but looses 2 hp. So for those areas, I can plug 'er up. lol

The system, they say is about 93 decibels. Which is only 5 db louder than the law here wants. I Imagine if I lay off the the gas going through towns, it shouldn't be to bad.

How bad of a job is it to pull the stock header and put my new Hauck header in? I haven't really had time to take a look, but I hope I don't have to pull the motor for this. I'm thinking the gas tank for sure, anything else?

Thanks.

pull the seat, pop out plugs in tunnel loosen clamps on the pipes, take the suspension springs off drop thetrack and suspension to get your hands in to get the new exhaust on without screwing up the donuts, install the hauck setup and reinstall all theshrouds and suspension. pretty straight foreward.as far as i know you dont replace the stock headers it attaches to the stock header.

Hauck also has a replacement header. The entire system was like 1100.00. The new header is more flowing, not as sharp of curves. I'll post pick in my thread in the garage forum when I get the parts.

There are 4 individual flex pipes coming off the head, they are about 5" long and then the "header" attaches to those. I don't think the Hauck system goes from the head back, but rather from the flex pipe back. Looking forward to seeing your install. Do you run studs?

Sounds easy enough. I'm starting out without studs this season. I want to give my 144" 1.5 lug Crossover track a chance to perform before I consider studs.

However,

I did set my tunnel up so I can simply remover 4 bolts and move my suspension to run a different length track. Later on I am buying a different track for ice drags / Radar runs. I'm actually thinking of a 144 full clipped ripsaw with studs 1.25 lug so I can keep my 9 tooth extroverts installed. I'll load that track up. lol

How do you plan to protect the hauck muffler? Going to add more stud protectors? They say not to run studs with that exhaust unless you do something, I'm curious what it takes. Thanks sounds like a fun project!

You can run studs with the Hauck pipe. You just can't stud the center 4 inches of the track. The rest of the track is open game.

So you going to run on the outside edges then? Looks tempting, I would love to have this exhaust..

I do not plan to run studs at all. Hauck does sell some protectors that would allow you to run studs up the middle. I'm going to see if I can get my suspension dialed in good enough to where I wont need to stud. My 144" Crossover track and Expert X should aid pretty well with hooking up. We'll see though.
