Hello everyone. I am thinking about taking my stock 2005 warrior out to Dubois, WY due to the lack of snow in th UP. I have done a few searchs on setups and learned to drill out my clutch weight rivets and install a coolant shutoff for the carbs. What would you guys recommend for jetting. Change just the mains? What size would be the best? We will be riding between 8 & 9000 feet and plan to do very little off trail riding. I realize the sled will be a little doggy, just looking for a basic setup for trail riding. Thanks in advanced!!!!!

curious why you put a shutoff for the coolant to carbs?? I live in the west, and that's all i've ever known as far as riding, and the heated carbs are an amazing thing. I never shut them off on my vector.

It helps it start better after you stop when it's warm.

hmmm... everytime i shut my heaters off when i'm in powder, the carbs ice up horribly. and it's been like that on every yamaha i've owned or been around. Back in the mid 90's when they introduced them on the vmax sleds, it did wonders for them.
But i suppose a shut off isn't a big deal, one thing i do know, use whatever works!
