Hi yall,
I'm new to this forum as I just bought an 08 Bruin. The first mod I wish to perform is heated handle bar grips. So my question is, what is the easiest method of removing the OEM grips to install heated ones? I don't wish to damage the current ones being their brand spank'n new and just maybe they're worth something to someone?
Any input fellers would be greatly appreciated.

Take a air hose and stick it in the end of the handle bar and blow. It will blow the grip off on the other side. Repeat for the other one. You may have to stuff a rag in the handle bar with the air hose to block the air from escaping. Works great, I do it all the time.

Okay tried this method using 125psi with a 20gal tank and failed. Even warmed everything up before hand. Maybe the grips are installed using glue? They don't have any movement in them at all. I'll try anything twice so one more time but they go under the knife if I strike out again.

Wow, I have have never failed with that method. Sorry dude Make sure the hose is sealed off good on the one end so all the air goes to the other grip. Pull on the grip as you blow the air in.

We just bought an 08 Bruin from Wpg Sport and leisure too. I just finished installing the heated grips. I tried the compressed air and everything else on the the sun. I ended up cutting them to pieces and used a wire brush on the drill to clean up the bar. I dunno what glue they used but...wow it's good stuff!
