Heat demon all the way. I put one on my 2017 SE that did not have a factory seat heater. Mine has lasted. I added a 1.5 amp fuse to mine(I think).. Its a pretty easy install.. Any questions PM me.

this is the one I used. I did replace the connector with a better one.. I wired to the accessories plug by the oil tank If I remember correctly. This way it turns off in case you forget when shutting sled down. Also I just cycle mine on and off with this in expensive kit. works for my needs very well. I instlled on off switch just above gas cap on the flat plastic plate so to speak. Just a simple rocker switch.
Hearing LOTS of factory heater elements that go bad. Also be very careful not to kneel or put a knee on your sled seat.. The elements can be damaged and then stop working.

Question If I added this or replace my factory heating element will this react the same to the hi-lo selector switch?

Pretty good chance it will work with aftermarket element however the calibration might not be same meaning either or both settings might be too hot or too cold.
The factory setup does use 2 resistors to regulate.

I went through this a few years ago on a Cat 7000 on the stock heater seat. Went heat demon never looked back. ONLY negative is only on off. But it works awesome and it’s just easy to cycle IMO

I'm making a 1+1 seat because my wife hates the Seat Jack. I already ordered the heat demon. I'm hoping it will work at the passenger end on hi and lo based on being wired in with the factory heating element at the driver seat.
