Heated Visor

Do you mean on the sled?
You'll have to install this yourself.

Is there a connection under the hood or do we need to find a hot wire to tap into?

No connection for acc under hood OR in stock wireing harness unless you got it from the factory!

Even #4 fuse slot in the fuse block behind brake isn't wired for a fuse on the acc side. (this is where the factory has a fuse for the ACC on the MTX sleds. I think they refer to it as '12v Term' in our owners manual.

Used to always tap into I believe the blue and black wires going to the tailight. Haven't checked what color's are on my nytro. I'm installing a 12 Volt accesory outlet to mine. I'm going to splice into the keyed 12v ignition wire and use a inline fuse. I think it may be the brown wire, and just hook the other terminal to any ground.

When I picked up my sled last week my dealer told me that within the next month or so they are sending out a kit that will be a plug in for that fuse box. I don't know how much it will be but it sounds like they have something coming?

I just went to the battery it's real easy. Their is a kit for it 10 dollars can't beat it. I did it on my other sleds with no problems...

Yes I would like to run something else but nothing is available. I would think the only thing that would short would be my heated visor if the fuse didn't pop

You would think the manufacturers would build these plugs into the sled. Here we are in 2007/2008 model year sleds and we need to rig the wiring for our heated visors.

Yah kind of going backwards from the Apex on that, I could see for the guys buying sled's without reverse that want to race them and don't need it. But lets face it, majority of these sleds will be out on the trail or in the woods.
