I bought a zeus helmet for the old lady last year. This year i bought the heated visor for it so she wont have to wipe the fog out all the time. The thing im wondering is after installing the visor it there is a gap between the upper part of the visor and the helmet of about a 1/4 inch maybe a little less than that. The kit came with directions they were great and easy to understand. HAVE AN AUTHORIZED DEALER INSTALL VISOR the end lol. Also in the kit was a piece of foam with the peal off glue that would seem to be something to fill the gap with but does not seem to fit the way its contoured. Do you guys have any input is it ok to have a little gap or should i make something to fix it? The helmet is zeus and so is the heated visor. To be more clear the gap can be seen if you were looking straght down from over the top of the helmet. I looked at my hjc helmet and it did not have as much of a gap.

Give it a try without the foam, it may not need it. If your wife finds it too drafty in the helmet, then just trim the piece of foam and add it to the shield.

There's nothing worse than spending so much dough for a shield/helmet that won't fog up, but end up getting frostbite instead. I had trouble with a helmet I bought last year and ended up sending it back for a refund at the end of the season.

Thanks for the input it would seem that having that gap would cause it to pull air up from around your neck when you are at high speeds. But at least she should be able to see. The helmet was 100.00 on sale i had to laugh when the visor was 80.00 i should have just bought the helmet with the heated visor to begin with. Thanks grimm
