Been working on heavy duty replacements for the nytro, apex/ vector. The Viper panel offers very little protection as well so I am going to produce replacement panels that are thicker. The BOP plates will be aluminum, but twice as thick as the factory plate. They will be a direct swap and mount with the factory hardware. Retail will be $22.
Below is a photo of the plate on my viper....it's bent! My front heat exchanger also has a slight bend in it. Had the stock access panel remained rigid the object struck would have not been as likely to catch on the heat exchanger.

I think the whole aluminum skid plate with the panel needs to be thicker

No this panel is just a replacement for the stock panel right under the oil pan and filter.

So if it's just a replacement for the stock panel, there are no added benefits? I thought it was a thicker and going to add more protection? I don't do much off trail riding, but would like more protection since the stock panel seems very thin, would I be better off just getting a ski plate over this?
Thanks

He had asked if it takes the place of the front skid plate and stated that it is a replacement for the stock panel. The plate is a thicker heavy duty panel for better protection.
$22 is cheaper than I can make it, I will be in for 1!!! maybe some chips come with this one?

I have some in stock, and they are listed in the online store now. Order them in the store and I will send it out.
We did make one change from the prototype posted. Since our plate is thicker and does not recess flush, we have ground a chamfer on the leading edge so its less likely to catch on objects.
