can someone explain what the 2 rear suspension bolts are that need to be removed in order to get the full exhaust out the rear. picture would really help im wrenching on it right now and cant figure it out

Not sure what sled, but on the back of the tunnel on each side, a bolt will hold the rear of the skid in place. Remove each bolt so the skid can drop down and swing out of the way to more easily access the exhaust from under the tunnel.

I never drop the skid when removing exhaust.

What kind of sled?? Usually don't have to drop skid to take exhaust off at Y pipe. Take of tail light assembly, and exhaust tip covers; you will see seat bolts; undo them and slide seat off (disconnect tail light harness at front of seat). Remove rear heat shield and gas cap and slide rubber filler tube under tank cowling. lift up on back of tank and prop it up. You will see 2 acess holes with obvious nuts, metric 12 I think. Back off the 2 bolts until loose but not all the way out. Wiggle exhaust assembly back and forth while pulling back and it should come off. Sorry don't have pics
