Heel Clicker setups

I just installed a Heel clicker 40-20 Clutch system with a white spring. Right now I am not using any added weight. I was wondering what others found with this system. I would also like a little information on 2ndary spring winding. My current engagement is 5400r's. The top side is around 10100-10200.

That's the same setup I've used for 2000 miles and have had good luck on a stock 03 rx-1.

I'm pulling mine off this week. Going back stock. Sled's not in the same state during the week and don't feel like breaking belts anymore. I'm sure if I played with it I could dial it, especially with all your help, but with no snow, I just need realiablity at this point. Waiting for that 170 hp sled next year!
BTW, white spring - prim, blu white sec, 30 - 10, or 40. No luck just sh*tty mileage and burning belts!

That is one of my concerns mileage. My engaement
is at 5400r's. I added a screw to the shoulder and it brought down the engagement to 5000. Now I don't have 102000 at the uder end. Lots of midrange. only 9800 on the tach. I also smell belt burning at take off.

40-20,s won,t work unless you get a helix about 46/36. Your gonna need the 40/10.

5400 engagement? Am I the only one who feels this is kinda high?

The engagement at 5400 really made the sled ROCK. I thought it was on steroids. I added weight to the shoulder to bring the engagement down to 5000. I am considering adding weight to the tip to increase the uppper end. It just seems like you add weight to 1 end to only turn around and add weight ot the other. The stock weight is 82 grams. The 40-20 is 65. Now I have already added 3 to the shoulder.

Adding weight to the tip will bring your rpms down

You can't compare the stock weights to the Heel Clickers or any other weight. The profile of the stock weight is flat which causes it to be heavier to bring down the rpm.
