nytroman20 said:Well with the Turks black spring setup and the 14.5 rollers I'm seeing 3600 ish for engagement. But I'm running the stock helix in the secondary wrapped at 6-2. I'm still trying to figure out a good drag setup with the red spring. I'm gonna set the wrap to 3-3 and try my base setup. It's a little trickier as the small rollers really affect what I used to run. They make my weights act heavier but there is no belt slip.[/quote
When you say Turks black spring set up? Do you mean after market? .... also curious to the total mase of one of you primary wheights?...is the wheight close to stock?.....and when tried 6-2..was that with stock sec spring? (white dot) ....and last when you say red spring? Are you talking about a yam spring.
Just trying to figure out what you are working with.....I have not play with clutching for a few years....and well this years I feel the disease coming on again...lol

The black spring and red spring are heelclicker springs, Yes aftermarket. and someone can correct me if i am wrong but the stock secondary spring for a nytro is pink? i think?

Yup both heelclicker springs with drag and fly weights. The secondary spring is stock and yes It's the pink dot. I'm running an rtx. I believe the xtx is white. Weights are 60g I believe when empty. I weighed them a while back and my black spring setup weighed I think 72-73g and the red spring setup wad around 68. I'll check tomorrow to be more precise. The black spring is 140-400 and red spring is 230-360.

That's allot of weight to try and get that helix to work....you say it works well with stock 43*
did you test with a mulle or just the feel of the sled?
The nyto motor does like to grunt ... I have a 660ft set up that pulls rmp down to 84-8500...no back shift ...but sneaky quick in that distance.....everytime I clutch for 8900-9000...my mulle takes me.... I re-clutch for 8500 to climb to 8700....it's a different ball game.
