im thinking im going to go with the mod 2 since its 120 bux cheaper than the bv2s where i was looking

The Klim F4 is a motocross helmet. But they designed it for sled use same with 509 helmets. I personally don't have either hemlet you are requesting info on. But I have talked to alot people that use them and everyone I've talked to loved the bv2s. The mods I've been told they have the tendecy to leak air sometimes. The best bag for the buck, HJC helmets have been great helmets for me and my friends. Plus there half the price. If this is your first helmet: (Hint) if wearing a bavaclava, make sure your try one on when helmet sizing. It makes a difference. Good luck in your choice.

i have a original modular helmet from when i had the ski-boom and it definelty leaked bad if the 2 is like that i'll definetly be looking for something else kinda thinking about the klim f4 now hmm......

BVS2 is the only way to go. The Modular leaks air, the latch freezes which makes it impossible to get off your head and the side breath vent tubes fill with snot and freeze cutting off the oxygen to your brain. The tube also break and the snaps to latch the breath mask are hard to operate with your gloves on. "NEED MORE"?

I have 2 BVS's and they can be bought for cheap on e-bay. There are some factory 2nds out there that sre $249 range. The 2 I bought had the chin strap stiched in the wrong spot I had to remove 3 stitches to let it extend out the full length.

I have ridden at -35 F at over 120 mph and felt nothing and also wear glasses and have NO fog problems.

i did it i bought a brand new 2010 bv2s on ebay for $300 im sure i'll be glad i didnt cheap out lol thanks guys
