Hello all
Question...Last season my shock blew..sent it out to be rebuilt. Installed it and my suspension is like s pogo stick. Similar to the behavior before I sent it out. Its acting as if there is no compression or rebounding resistance. Wire is attached and icon is showing on display. Dampening adjuster clicks. My questions:
1. Shop told me that if it clicks then then it is charged. Can it be possible that they did not charge it enough?
2. Could the solenoid be bad? Icon shows on dash.
3. Can a spring go bad? No cracks or anything

I am perplexed.. Any thoughts? :o|
Thanks in advance

Sledman, First off i would call the place you had the shock rebuilt at. As for question #1 that is correct if the rebound adjust clicks the shock is not blown. # 2 If the icon is showing on the display the solenoid is working . Does the scale change when you adjust the shock with the thumb switch? #3 The spring could lose some of it's strength but that would not cause the issue you are having. the suspension would not return when compressed. If you can adjust the shock using the thumbswitch to showing all bars on the display and the sled is still springy i would think something was wrong with the shock internally. ps. you should post this thred in the apex section. I hope this helped.

Thanks for the feedback. I found out the the spring was set way too loose. I thought they set this up for my riding weight at the shop. Anyway, I am in the process of setting the sag correctly for my weight.

I did post this in the apex forum (duplicate) after I realized i was in the wrong place. Thanks again!
