That's not terrible, that's what they get for mileage. My '04 Warrior was way better on fuel than my current Apex.

these threads make me laugh, as long as i can get 150kms to a tank while hard on the throttle that should get me to the next station. i honestly couldnt tell you if my 11 is better than my two 07s because the results can vary on so many things. Say a properly maintained skid. Why worry about mileage unless its a dramatic decrease from the previous year

I hate these threads....If your worried about a 4 stroke and bad milage...Get out of snowmobiling. I run a Open mod drag sled that burns $7.90 a liter fuel plus oil. An old man one told me once, you cant make horse power with just air!!
On a more serious note...That's pretty good for a sled. I bet ur buds with the 2 strokes have a lot more worse to say.

Same here, 2011SE 14.xx MPG
I run a 07 attack....stock. Brother has 2011 apex xtx....stock. Side by side all day, they are very close in milage, both about 11-13 mpg. Only difference is he spends a couple more bucks each day on premium. This year he got a pc-v from ulmer to improve his drivability issues. I would assume milage will still be similar, as the timing should not go into retard mode. As posted above, we really do not get concearned about milage, just that there is not a sudden change in milage compared to normal. When the donuts went bad on my 07', I was putting in 25 percent more fuel, and lacking 10 percent power/performance. There are many things that affect milage. Clutching, terrain, heavy thumb, weight, just to name a few. Everything is a trade off, but I can tell you that it takes fuel to make power.

16 mpg is pretty damn good! If you are thinking that is low mpg, I hope you don't have, or are thinking of getting a boat as the gas mileage on those are only around 4-5 miles per gallon!!!!!!!!! lol

shoot the only person I know that gets crazy millage...is my wife
on her attk...but it never sees more than 6000 rpm..lol..before my S.C....I still used more than 40% more gas than her..The millage seems more real when my son rides her sled with me.

Well there are USA Gallons & Imperial Gallons which are larger so more miles per gallon. 16 would be good for USA a gallons not sure which gallon you are quoting milage?

Typically 12 for me. One day with lots of powder got around 10. Would usually get 8-9 on my Polaris IQ700 so I am happy. What you would expect when the trail looks like picture below. River runs really drink the fuel. You can guess where the throttle is most of the time.
Did see a small jump when I did my donuts, skid wheels and spedo bearing.
