True mileage on the Apex/Attak-Supertrax says 20+

Hate to break it to you, but there is NO SUCH THING as a "Canadian Gallon". Never was, never will be. You're probably referring to the IMPERIAL GALLON. As in BRITISH. And if you read the FIRST REPLY on this thread, you would see that the conversion factor is 1.2.

I've been sensing a bit of grumpiness in response to many of my recent posts...I must be rubbing some people the wrong way. If so, I apologize and it's certainly unintentional.

Weather's too nice to sit here on the 'puter anyway. Methinks I'll take a break for a while and not post for a few months. Might come back after my 07 Attak is delivered, but we'll see.

Can't say I've gotten more than 15mpg. Calculated 16.6 for other GT I was riding with last weekend in QC. Didn't calculate mine because I don't care that much, but I put in a little more each fill up.

2] Canadian [Imperial Gallons] are 25 % larger than Yankee.
3] Lester rides like a Wussy
4] Yamaha had lots of addys in the Mag

Add 1+2+3+4 equals over 20 mpg.

Simple math, really.

4000 miles on 06 Attak. 13-16 US mpg. About 1 mpg less than 05 warrior. Still plenty of range for long distance cruising. studdog. For info my 05 mach z got about the same.

I am just about the same as your stats studdog, 3834 miles and 13-16 mpg u.s. with my Attak. Mark Lester just e-mailed me back and said he is talking u.s. gallons. No mags use imperial gallons that he knows of. He was just in Amos Quebec (I've ridden through there before) and said they had the new AC Jaguar Z1 there for mileage runs but no stats on that one. He said the Mach Z got 18-21, the Apex 20+, the Vector Nytro up to 23, the RX-1 carb almost 20, the Turbo Cat 16-18, the Polaris FST 13-15 and the Ski Doo SDI600 up to 22. Believe it or not that is what he said.
