I cannot get the chaincase cover off. I believe I have removed all the bolts, I have been following the directions from the tech page of Mr. Sled's how to change a track, and somebody elses on how to change the top gear. I can get the bottom of the case to open a bit when I pull in it, it seems as though the top part is caught up on something. Help me get this off.
I don't have an internet connection at the house, so a response from me may take a little while.
Here is a picture of the chaincase right now.

Use a rubber mallet...usually takes a few hits and it will break loose.

If you have reverse you need to move the gear lever assembly as you pull and keep fiddling till it lets loose. Also the top and bottom have to come off evenly or it will catch and feel like its still bolted on.
They are a PITA done it 5 times or more and still give me fits each time.

If you think getting it off was a pain, wait til you try to put it back on. You have to fiddle with the reverse dogs and get them lined up right, and dont' forget that little spring in the reverse idler.

Speaking of the little spring, does it line up with the two wholes on the drive cogs?
I am trying to put a reverse kit back together without instructions.
