Hey, my little sister's phazer has a issue. at Idle, the rpm's are around 1500-2000rpms. When I went to check it while we were going at 40km/h I noticed it was abnormally loud and the rpms were all the way up to 7500-8000rpms. What could the issue be? Its a 2009 Phazer rtx. Only about 500km on it.

Did you check they belt

What issue would the belt be?
Im not really upbeat on phazers since I myself own an apex mountain. Its just I dont like having my little sis on back with me while im trying to ride :D

I have had this happen the belt was cook and it rode like the break was on it may be something to look at. But with it being so new y dont u take it in and have it look over

I think the dealer may have did something. But what do they really do when doing servicing. Both my apex and my little sisters phazer went in for service about 2 weeks ago and it was fine last year. Its only the other day when we took it out that it was reving so high. But do they really do anything with servicing that they could mistake and have the engine go that high?

What did they do when it was in there. Did you check the bearings in the driver assly. I had a phazer that I rebuild after a guy rolled and the bearings were cook so bad that I could not trun the track by hand

No idea. Just the fall servicing. My dad takes them up there so there really isn't any questions asked. Mine seems to perform flawlessly though.

O how is the track is it tight on not
Im really new to this stuff, how do I check the tension? I usually leave the mechanical work for the dealer. And there dont appear to be any rips in the track.

you should be able to put at less to firgers in from the track to the bottom of the rail
Alright ill check tomorrow. Im assuming if the track tension is tight that the rpms will be higher?
