how big of a job is it to remouve the fuel tank, do you have to remouve the big u frame and handle bar,thanks

No, it's not that bad. You will have to remove the seat and loosen the painted plastic cover that is on top of the tank. Once that is loose, it is pretty self-explanatory. If you are going to completely remove the tank, make sure you disconnect all the wires and hoses before you give it a mighty pull.
