Just got back from our second ride with this set up. I realize there will be some fooling to get it right but this problem just about cost me the sled. Going back into the big stuff there were a few short chutes which were no problem at all. Then we got to a long steep climb with some rocks showing near the top. About 15 sec after going WOT the thing popped and fell on its face. It picked back up for about 20 feet and then repeated. I managed to dive it into some rocks and hold on until my son came down and we got it turned around. If it had rolled it would have been really ugly. It almost seems like it runs out of fuel. My boost was steady at 8.5 and plug color seems good. There were few instructions in the kit regarding any adjustment to the fuel pump or regulator. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. TM :?

Mine did the exact same thing with the loud pop and stall.. I blew the air box loose. Check it closely as it may look like it's still on , but boost will move it and leak.

I had the same problem and I traced it down to the fuel pressure was too low,Raised it to 3# static and am going to raise it to 4lbs.At 3lbs fuel pressure and 10psi boost it ran perfect.Another thing that made a difference was raising the float level to 15mm,this kept it from dying when the machine was vertical.

Thanks TV, the regulator was set at less than 1#. Now at 3.5# and will hopefully get to test it before the weekend. Thanks again,

Yeh,you would think that they would check this before it left.
