yamaha has an adapter on their website that allows you to keep your front small wheels and mount the scratchers to the wheel.

I got the mid wheel kit as well as the front wheel kit. I wonder if they'll work with the mid wheels. Being I would need a place to hang them out of the way.

scratchers
I bought scatchers from HP for less than $40. Graham has them for $60. What's the deal with that?

Personally I would just remove your front wheels and mount them in the same holes they come out of. Depending on our rails you may or may not have to drill a hole 2 1/16 in front of the mounting hole for the spring. I have iceage rails on just laid them on the top.
Yamaha does have a mounting bracket so you can keep your front wheels but as long as your scratchers are down you will get enough lubrication and the front wheel is not required.
Anybody who knows me.....knows I have a LOT of experince with scratchers! LOL

Seeker,
I was wondering if removal of the frong wheel would cause front of slide to wear, when scratcher is not down. What do you think of mounting scrastchers on the inside of skis?
