Cousins 06 Apex GT was serviced immediately before trip to Canada. After a few days riding code 36 popped up. While at Valinouet (no thanks to the dopes there who wouldn't let us pull in the garage) I took it apart and cleaned a very small smudge from the electric plug to the coil on #4 and that cleared it up for a couple days until he went wide open again for a few miles on a lake. He ran pretty much all day with intermittent spark in at least #4. Should we be looking for a wire issue, a coil issue, coil plug, spark plug? I assume that plug must be fouled.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Change plugs, swap coils with either 1 or 3. If it shows up there it,s the coil. If not wiring or ecu.
