HID Install

Where did you guys install the ballest for the HID on the 2011 Apex..Thx

usually on the bracket that holds the headlight, with the extra fuel pump i have on mine i mounted them up under the dash using velcro and a couple of stainless screws

I put ballist each corner of light pod with double sided tape.

x2 on ballasts up in the pod. this is on a 07, but I assume it is similar. Everthing is tucked up in the pod, so if I unbolt the pod, the whole sytem comes off with it....no extra wire to unplug

this is what I did for mine. It looks like you have the same amount of room. Only thing I would do next time is to screw the plate on the light. I had drilled holes and riveted it on. drilling the holes put plastic in the light i had to vacume out. There is about 1/2in clearance behind where the plate attaches.

this year I am mounting all of this on another light I am making over with a yellow inside.

wow 4 ballest....

I actually electrical taped both mine together then zip tied it to the main wireing harness under the headlight...eventhought it doesnt sound good its very secure

I have so on all models , the circuit is working for 3 years already.
