I like to patronize businesses that advertise on TY as a way to further support the site. Both Kurt and Rock's products are top notch and you can't beat their customer service!

Hi Guys!
Thanks for the recommendations, I appreciate it
We have finalized the HID kits and will be releasing them very soon.
Right now, I have 10 kits we will sell to TYers for $150.
(List is going to be $180)
We want to get the kits out there so others can get an idea how good the quality is.
These come with the Quick Connect Harness that simply plugs right into the factory harness.
Makes for a super easy, quick, clean install!
Thin ballasts, 35W 4.3K, Bi-xenon lamps.
Includes everything required to install on your sled!
I will be doing a major post about our HID Lighting Kits in the coming week, right now I am in Munising helping get the groomers, etc ready for winter.
If you would like a set now for the reduced price, send me a PM, will get you taken care of!

Bump for Rock. His HD's are plug and play.

I used 3M heavy duty velcro (10 lb rating) to mount the ballasts to my headlight frame, rather than zip ties or screws. That velcro is strong! I had to use a screw driver to pry the two pieces apart when I went to move the ballasts back a bit for headlight clearance.

Got mine off eBay for about $70. Been using them for 3 years now and work great. Came with all wiring to factory wires.

Go with a 55W kit, they put out a lot more light. Personally I prefer 5000 or 6000 for the color temp.

whats the life on these hids? Id like to switch over, Ive seen the difference but rather stay away from any problems in the future when it comes to headlights
I have 14,000 to 15,000 miles on my RX with HIDS and about 6 or 7 years with no problems. Life is not an issue I think.
