Higher Idle Rpm Hurts anything ?

you sure thats the clutch sounding off or the donuts?

Its the clutch rattling like they all do and i hate it lol. I wonder how high i could crank the idle without hurting anything ? Even mod the clutch somehow to stop it from rattling...

They say on here its the chain case behind it that is making the noise turning up idle even more might ( don't know for sure ) make it harder to stop use caution if you do that 1500 is where its saposta be if that noise is anoying hit the loud button and it goes away LOL

The noise is the gear reduction behind the clutch and the 03's were louder because they had straight cut gears but the strongest. 04+ and all apex get the quieter angle cut gears.

No issue having the sled idle at 1750 like I used to to keep it quiet.

If your idle is solid and constant (good plugs, clean and sync'd carbs, etc.), you can get a nice firm constant rattle. Makes it sound like a serious machine, kinda that chainsaw-like brutality, but consistent and smooth. Set the idle to 1100-1200 for best results.
